How to become an IFPA accredited training provider?
To become an accredited IFPA training provider, please review the accreditation agreement, download the information pack and contact the IFPA Office.
All IFPA accredited training providers may:
- Use the IFPA accredited training provider logo on course documentation and awards
- Be included in the Find a school, Diploma courses and CPD courses databases
- Be listed in the In Essence journal
- Advertise your courses to IFPA members on our website, newsletter and social media.
If you are considering becoming an IFPA accredited training provider, please note the following:
- All accredited training provider applications are evaluated to ensure compliance with application requirements. If information or supporting documents are missing or partially completed, this may result in rejection of the application.
- The application process may include reviewing the course curriculum, as well as associated teaching materials, learning strategies, assessment materials, marking schemes and any marketing material used to promote the course.
- As the industry grows and evolves in line with best practices, the IFPA reserves the right to review our education standards to keep them relevant, safe and compliant with governmental guidelines. All accredited training providers are required to ensure awareness and compliance with any existing and upcoming educational guidelines. Please note that the IFPA reserves the right to change or update our educational guidelines and requirements at any time without notice.
- Accreditation is provided for a period of 12 months on an annually renewable basis unless such accreditation has been removed or suspended. Failure to complete the renewal process within 30 calendar days will result in the removal of accreditation. Where the IFPA has evidence that an accredited training provider has breached IFPA standards, the IFPA may initiate a re-accreditation assessment without notice.
- It is the responsibility of the accredited training provider’s owner to ensure that tutors engaged by the Institution are qualified in accordance with the qualifying tutor criteria.
- Non-compliance or breaches of the Federation’s accreditation policy may lead to suspension or withdrawal of the training provider’s accreditation. Following suspension or withdrawal of accreditation, a training provider is required to cease claiming IFPA accreditation.
