This one-day course is open to anyone who is interested in making natural cosmetics for their personal use or considering making a professional skin care range.
Course Times: 9.30am to 4.30pm
Course Location: Leixlip, Co Kildare
You will get hands on experience at making creams, lotions and ointments under the helpful guidance of Christine and Colum who have been making skin care products for over 15 years.
Temperature – You will learn the importance of temperature and blending for correct emulsification
Preservatives – what they do and how to use them
The ingredients – the difference between a good product and a great product are the base ingredients. You will work with, and discuss, lots of different combinations
Essential oils – how to use them correctly
Safety – How to comply with all EU safety regulations
Blending – The principles of blending oil and water and the secret of perfect emulsification.
Bees wax – The principles of using beeswax as a base for healing.

• 2 different emulsified Lotions
• A beeswax cream
