Holistic Sinus and Nasal treatment

Sinus infection and congestion can be the cause of severe headaches and facial pain. This holistic treatment was developed by OBUS to cater for the numerous clients presenting with facial congestion and pain.  It brings together a number of modalities to assist clearing the sinuses, easing inflammation and treating infection.

Course Times: 9.30am to 5.30pm

Course Content

The treatment is a combination of:

• Aromatherapy
• Lymphatic Drainage
• Ayurveda nasal oil
• Head, neck and face massage
• Foot massage – working the respiratory reflexes

Students will learn:

The safe and effective use of Aromatherapy steam inhalation.
Vigorous Sinus massage
Facial lymphatic drainage massage using small facial suction cups.
Holistic head, neck and facial massage
Application of Ayurvedic nasal oils

Finishing on the feet – focusing on the sinus and lung reflexes

Cautions and contraindications
Client aftercare and home advice to include diet information on mucus inducing foods

Who can do this course?

This course is open to qualified therapists who hold a recognised qualification in Anatomy and Physiology to Diploma level
