Indian Head-Massage is a very old art that has been practised for many years in market squares and on street corners in India. Ayurveda is the traditional, medical science of India. Learn how to establish your own and your clients’ ayurvedic type (Prakriti) and how to balance the 3 higher chakras – Sahasrara (Crown), Ajna (Brow/Third Eye) and Vishuddha (Throat). We also learn how to balance the 3 doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
On this training course you will be taught a gentle, firm and rhythmical massage that can be performed with or without oil. This wonderful treatment brings balance back to the energy systems whether that be reviving through stimulating techniques or relieving anxiety and restoring calm.
It helps to tone the muscles, relieves lymphatic stagnation, eye-strain and headaches, improves concentration and boosts the immune-system. It also eliminates muscular tension and restores joint-movement by stretching and mobilising the tissues of the neck and shoulder.
For Qualified Massage Therapists
We also take Students with no prior experience to use with friends and family. In India and Nepal, anyone can massage and we have the aim to keep this tradition alive.
