A main activity of the Publicity & Public Relations Chair is to raise public awareness of the advantages of seeking the services of an aromatherapist trained to the IFPA syllabus rather than one who is not.
Activities aimed at raising public awareness of our members include:
- developing a range of flyers and publicity material for members’ use
- inserting avertisements in appropriate periodicals on a regular basis
- input on articles commissioned by journalists
- attendance at major exhibitions throughout the year.
‘In Essence’ is the quarterly journal of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA). It is distributed to all Federation members (over 2,200 members worldwide).
The publication offers its readers evidence–based feature articles, essential oil profiles, case studies, and the latest news about developments in the world of aromatherapy.
