FAQs

No matter how long you have been involved with this subject; there will always be questions that you would like to be answered. Here at the IFPA, we take this responsibility very seriously and provide many different ways for our Members to find out the answers to their questions; with CPD courses, with our Training School, our Facebook page, our resident Experts, Honorary Fellows, Quarterly Magazine and our monthly e Newsletter. Here are some of the most frequent questions we get asked, but feel free to use all our information sources to find the answers you need…

What if I want to take a career break?

MIFPAs who want to take a break from practise or retire, can become a Non-practising Member at a reduced membership rate, whilst still maintaining many benefits.

How much will it cost?

The costs of studying for your diploma will depend on the course you take. You should take into account the tuition fees, student membership (this may be included in your fees) and the cost of travel or accommodation. Many courses are delivered part-time and at weekends to allow students to work at the same time. Check the details with your school.
